Vaida's story reveals how a long-sought dream can become a reality - after training, Vaidas got a job as a WEB specialist at the place where he started his new career path - "Vilnius Coding Shcool".

What is your professional path before training? What field did you work in and how many years did you work?
I worked in the civil service for about 6 years, I was an official.

Briefly tell us why you decided to retrain?
Technology has accompanied me all my life, I have been interested in it since childhood. I have tried creating web pages since I was a teenager, but back then it was more like a game, so I never took it seriously and took other paths. Sometimes I kept dreaming about a career as a programmer, and after a good 15 years I "stuck my nails" into code again and noticed that there was an opportunity to change my qualifications - so I did.

How did you choose your chosen training program and why Vilnius Coding School?
I chose "Vilnius Coding Shcool" WEB development full stack program, because I already had some front-end programming knowledge, but I didn't have the slightest idea how web pages work or apps Back-end part, so I found this program the most suitable. Also, I really liked the length of the training program.

How did the training go? What knowledge and skills have you acquired?
It went very well, one of the components of why I liked the training so much was the very good lecturer and mentor Naglis. I deepened my existing ones front-end programming knowledge, I also learned Back-end technology and database management.

How did the search for the company go? Was it difficult?
Company searches were conducted through all job advertisement portals, LinkedIn and etc. It wasn't difficult, but it took several months.
