What criteria must be met in order to receive training funding?

The employment service provides opportunities for unemployed and employed (working) people to learn and acquire new qualifications and competences that create high added value.

 

Jobseekers are selected according to the following priorities:

the unemployed, wishing to conclude a tripartite contract;

to occupy people:

a) wishing to enter into tripartite contract;

b) wishing to enter into a bilateral contract, when it is indicated in the Register of Legal Entities that the employed person's employer is being reorganized or restructured;

c) wishing to conclude a bilateral agreement, when the insured income calculated for him during the last 3 months before the month of concluding the bilateral agreement on the acquisition of qualifications and competences creating high added value is less than 1,5 times the amount of the minimum monthly salary approved by the Government of the Republic of Lithuania.

 

If more than one candidate remains after this evaluation, preference is given for a client who has never participated in measures or has been registered with the Employment Service for a longer period of time.

 

What are the obligations?

In a tripartite agreement it is expected that the Employment Service will finance the acquisition of qualifications and/or competences that create high added value.

Future employer after training undertakes to employ an unemployed or employed person (if he changes his workplace) or current employer undertakes continue the employment contract for an employed person based on the acquired qualification or competence for a period of at least 6 months.

Unemployed or employed person undertakes get a job with the intended employer or continue the employment contract with the current employer and work according to the acquired qualification or competence for at least 6 months.

The Employment Service must reimburse all expenses incurred by it when:

  • unemployed or employed a person who, without important reasons, does not fulfill the obligations set out in the tripartite agreement not to interrupt education or employment, or not to interrupt the employment contract for 6 months;
  • the employer, without good reasons does not fulfill the obligation stipulated in the tripartite agreement not to terminate the employment contract for 6 months without good reasons.

In a bilateral agreement it is expected that the Employment Service will finance the acquisition of qualifications and/or competences that create high added value.

An unemployed or employed person who has graduated from a chosen educational institution, will get a job In a workplace offered by the employment service or found by yourself or will start independent activities ar ua busy person, after training, will continue the employment contract at the current employer according to the acquired qualification or competence and will work for at least 6 months.

The employment service must reimburse all expenses incurred by it when unemployed or employed a person, without good reasons, does not fulfill the obligation stipulated in the bilateral contract don't stop learning.

When concluding a bilateral agreement on the acquisition of qualifications and competences that create high added value, the future training participant chooses the training provider himself, and in the case of a tripartite agreement - after coordination with the employer.

What is the funding procedure and process? Where and when to apply?

  • The first step is to register at the Employment Service and make an appointment with an OT specialist.
  • The second step - after receiving confirmation from the UŽT that the funding is granted to you, be sure to inform Vilnius Coding School in advance so that we can reserve a place for you. We would recommend that you consult with UŽT in advance in order to get a place in time for the desired date in the group, since the number of places in the training groups is very limited.
  • The third step - before the start of the training, you will receive a training funding coupon from UŽT, which will give you the opportunity to study for free.

What part of the amount is financed by the Employment Service?

Training is financed 100%.

 

Is distance learning possible? Is class attendance required?

You can choose the format of the training according to your convenience - in the classroom or from home and change it during the training. This provides an opportunity to participate in training throughout Lithuania. Class attendance is optional.

 

Is it possible to join these trainings without registering for UŽT?

Yes, you can study at your own expense. Flexible payment options are available HERE.

 

Can a person who chooses training funded by the UŽT receive a student scholarship?

Yes, both working and non-working persons can receive the scholarship:

  • For unemployed persons - 0,5 MVA or 2,57 EUR per hour attended or the amount of the unemployment social insurance benefit.
  • For employed persons - 0,3 MVA or 1,54 EUR per hour visited.
